Collection of Personal Information
Yuyam collects information from users including email address, username, password, links and other content (tags, comments, etc.) stored by the user, messages, log file information (suchas IP address and browser data), and cookies.
Registration data. An email address, username and password are required for users to submit links and other content on the Site. Links and other content submitted by users are redisplayed to the public in public and private areas of the Site.
Links, content and other submissions. If you choose to submit a link, comments on stories or other content on the Service, we will collect that information you provide to us. Yuyam may examine this data on an individual user basis as necessary to provide better service and filter out any objectionable content.

We also collect information volunteered by users of our Site, such as by completing and submitting our online forms, or emailing or mailing us. If you contact us, or if other users or third parties contact us about your activities or postings on the Site, we may collect such information into a file specific to you.
Messaging. A user may email links and other content to other users by using the email function on the Site. Yuyam collects email address information for the purpose of sending links and populating a users address book in the Service.
Log file information. When users visit our Site, our servers automatically collect certain information that the browser sends when visiting Web sites in general. This log file information may include the URLs you visited; your IP address; date, time, and time spent on pages visited; and information about your browser and platform.
Cookies. From time to time, our Service and/or Site may use the cookies feature of major browser applications that allows us to store a small piece of data on your computer about your use of the same. We do not set any personally identifiable information in cookies. Cookies help us learn which portions of our Service and Site are useful and which need improvement, among other things. You can choose whether to accept cookies by changing the settings on your browser. However, if you choose to disable this function, your experience with the Service may be significantly diminished and many features may not operate.
Use of Personal Information
Generally. We use the personally identifiable information and aggregate information we collect to maintain your account and market and provide the Service and Site to you, to improve our offerings and to create new offerings. Links and other content submitted by users are redisplayed to the public on public and private areas of the Site.
Registration data. We do not use your personally identifiable information to send commercial or marketing messages to you (such as offers regarding the Service) without your consent or opt-in. We may send you certain service and administrative notices, which are not subject to opt out.
Links, content and other submissions. As the Site is supported by advertising, we may use the links and other content submitted by users to improve our marketing and promotional efforts by providing targeted advertising based on such links and content.
Messaging. We may permanently store email addresses sent from our messaging tools for the purpose of simplifying future emails you wish to send. If you send an email using the service to an email address that is not registered on our Site, we do not use that email address for any purpose other than to send your email, and do not read the content of these emails, except for the limited purposes in Information Sharing below. Other users may send emails to you via the Service. Yuyam does not review these messages before they are sent to you. In the future, Yuyam intends to provide you with a means of blocking emails from specific users you designate.
Log file information and cookies. We use cookies and log file information to remember your information so that you do not need to re-enter it when using the Service and Site, to provide personalized content; and to administer and monitor usage of the Service and Site.
Aggregate Information. We may use aggregate, non-personally-identifiable data to
analyze Site usage and customize the Site's content, layout, and services. These
uses improve the Site and better tailor it to meet your needs, so as to provide
you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience while using the
Site.
Information Sharing
As a matter of policy, we do not sell, rent or otherwise share any of your personal information with third parties without your explicit consent.
However, the following describes some of the ways that your personal information may be disclosed in the normal scope of business to provide the Site and Service: We may share such information if we in good faith believe that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with any law, regulation or order, such as subpoena, court order or search warrant; (b) provide the Service and/or Site using subcontractors under confidentiality agreement; (c) protect and defend the rights or property of Yuyam, including investigations and defense of third-party claims; (d) otherwise ensure compliance with Yuyam agreements, terms of service and policies; and/or (e) protect the rights, property and personal safety of Yuyam users, staff or the public. Yuyam reserves the right, in the event all or any relevant portion of the stock, business or assets of Yuyam is transferred to, acquired by or merged with any third party, to transfer or assign as part of such transaction any or all of the information we have collected.
Your User ID, and any links or other content (such as tags and comments) you submit are displayed in public and private areas of the Site. All of your activities on the Site will be identifiable to your User ID. Other people can see the links and other content you have submitted on the Service.
We aggregate (gather up data across all user accounts) personal information and disclose such information in a non-personally identifiable manner to advertisers and other third parties for their marketing and promotional purposes. However, in these situations, we do not disclose to these entities any information that could be used to identify you personally.
Account Corrections
You may change your account settings by editing your personal profile on the Service. Such changes generally take immediate effect. However, we may retain any information to the extent required by law or otherwise in connection with the permitted information sharing described above.
Links
The Service and Site and content on them contain advertisements and links to other sites and resources controlled by third parties. Yuyam is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these other sites or resources, and you should consult the privacy statements of such other sites and resources.
Data Security
Our Service and Site have security measures in place to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information that we obtain from you, but we make no assurances about our ability to prevent any such loss, misuse, to you or to any third party arising out of any such loss, misuse, or alteration.
Changes
We may amend this Privacy Policy, including the use of your information for new, unanticipated purposes, at any time by posting a revised version on the Site, and/or sending information regarding the amendment to your email address of record with Yuyam. You are responsible for regularly reviewing the Site to obtain timely notice of such amendments. You shall be deemed to have accepted such amendments by continuing to use Service and Web Site after such amendments have been posted or information regarding such amendments has been sent to you. If you do not agree with any of such changes, you may immediately cease all access and use of the Service and Site. You agree that such termination will be your exclusive remedy in such event.
International Users
The Site is hosted and the Service is provided in the United States of America. If you are accessing the Site or Service from the European Union, Asia, or any other jurisdiction with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure, which differ from United States laws, please be advised that through your use of the Site and Service, you are transferring your personal information to the United States of America and you consent to that transfer.
